Background

Llysiau Menai is a new market garden on Anglesey, growing seasonal vegetables on just over an acre. Founded by Sam Hollick in 2023, the farm delivers veg boxes that always feature produce from the farm, supplemented by other local farms, bringing fresh, local vegetables to homes across South Anglesey.

The challenge

As a new enterprise, Llysiau Menai needed a platform to help sell online, manage packing and delivery, and provide a professional customer experience from day one. With so many priorities in a first growing season, operational efficiency was essential to focus on growing the business.

Being able to provide flexibility to customers even as a brand new market garden has been great, and the software has helped me organise my pick and pack smoothly, letting me focus on other aspects of growing a new business.

Built-in fulfilment tools make packing simple: harvest and packing lists are generated automatically, removing the need for spreadsheets and helping Sam manage orders efficiently while focusing on farming.
